Andy’s Take On The Chicago Art Expo

Although I was not able to be at the art expo, I spent some time looking online at the different pieces of arts that were displayed. Although some of the more exciting, hands on sculptures were fascinating, Trevor Paglen’s “Reaper in the Sun”, spoke to me the most. The combinations of the purples and reds create a very soothing image. I spent some time thinking about what would surround this picture (below it or to the sides) and in my mind, a stretch of rocky mountains spread as far as the eye can see to the left and right and from the foot of the mountains to where you are standing is a flat plane with cat tails blowing steadily in the warm summer breeze.
