Water (Soap, Plaster)

Hand 1

Hand 2

Hand 3

I accomplished carving my soap and casting my hand.  The steps taken were as follows; brainstorm, sketch, carve.  I repeated these steps along the way as outcome differs from expectation.  The next step I want to take as a result of this learning experience is becoming more comfortable and knowledgeable of the tools I use.  Work in this course connects to work in other courses because the necessity of attention to fine detail whole picture and elements along the way that lead to the overall outcome.  My perspective has changed after doing this project by thinking subtractive sculpting was based on 2d drawings on 6 planes however many more polygons form from the initial source once subtraction has begun.
