Your Man

When I first saw the caps I was immediately intrigued. There was endless possibilities to what I could make with them and that was the best part about them. I started to play with the bottles by sticking them into the styrofoam bust with different fasteners and I was having a problem of wanting it to look to perfect. I have had this problem multiple times this semester, but I finally decided it did not have to look human like and that was part of the art. So, the man my sculpture is made after is whoever the viewers wants it to be, if they want it to be a non human species or their father, it is the viewer’s choice. That is the most important lesson I learned this semester, the piece is not about what you think it is, it is about what the viewer sees.
